In the world of my own imagination
i would get lost not to be found
until i roam around
i would see fish climbing the tree
birds exploring the sea
plants having there early morning tea
and bees selling their honey
getting a million hugs
from a thousand bugs
and in my dreams which are rather bizarre
I'd catch some of them and keep them in a jar
fishing for the moon and the stars
tasting some of the delicious clouds
i would cheer aloud
i may even touch the sky, reach the sun
oh! and i would feel proud
with no sorrow, no regret
telling the truth
i like it better than reality
coz here is where i feel joviality
it would be a world completely mine
where i would rise, where i would shine
so, in the world of my own imagination
i would get lost not to be found
until i roam around....
A beautiful poem on fantasy. You have a talent for poetry, Rated 10+...
Dear Sarah, How fun. I am in the mid-time of my life and have grown children. Your young optimistic viewpoint reminded me to never loose my wonder and awe in the imagination of my heart. fishing for the moon and stars as well as several other phrases. Very cool!
