A hug
a laugh
a tear
a soft whisper you can barely hear
Oh! Mum where are you?

Taking me to school
to see me laugh everyday
to see me try and get my own way
to see me run and have fun
to meet my mates and possible dates
to cook treats and to hear me say
Mom I love…..


for me to read at night
would put my heart just right
to tuck me in
give me a kiss and wish me good night
to turn light off
one more glance
one more little wink
and blow me a kiss

These are the things I just miss.
