To Dear Departed
When my friend;
You have departed
leaving me with a sigh
Asking The lord why?
Why you should so loving a soul
Take away from this earth
Giving a halo to the pearl
I imagine her; in an emotional whirl
In the open palm of my hand
I see but the rugged lines
I question lord's will and fate
What the good lord has planned of late......
