To the Spouse of my Ex-Spouse,
I hope you find happiness in my old house.
I hope you enjoy the chaos that was once my life.
I hope you find peace amid the every day strife.
I hope you are the bearer of nothing but love and respect.
I hope you never find reason to infidelity suspect.
I hope you never worry about where the money all went.
I hope you never argue about how much money was spent.
I hope your opinions and ideas are never ignored.
I hope you never find yourself lonely or bored.
I hope your needs are constantly being met.
I hope you never find yourself wallowing in regret.
In short, I hope you two always find something to celebrate.
Like I did, the day I managed to unload some dead weight.

the ending gave me a LARGE laugh. Thanks! ! a 'GREAT' poem here from you. so the marriage was not completely all for naught, i.e. the marriage managed to inspire you to write this wonderful poem, even if its other impact was all or most often NEGATIVE in your life! of course, this may not be about you! my three divorces were positive influences on my life, and the marriages were not totally 'bombs'. i 'love' the rhyming. i like the repetitive phrase: I hope you/your. i love the in short and dead weight. i'd 'LOVE' to put into a showcase. may i, please? ? it goes to MyPoemList. bri aka Brian ;) i don't suppose all readers will find this so entertaining. : (
