Touching Heartaches Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Touching Heartaches

Silent and sorrowful, settled into nighttime's atmosphere
without a word to speak to anyone, consolidating thoughts
in an ebony darkness where mind and heart blend in harmony.

Touching heartaches of the past, healing them in rhythmical
seclusion where they can be taken and given many moments of
blessedness in years of life that are left to each of us.
