Trespassers Into Serenelife Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Trespassers Into Serenelife

A fickle maid trespassed into his calm life
and showed him the gentlecrawlof a breeze,
the heart-ailing sad life with its knotty strife
and the effects of her words made his blood freeze.

To foresee her crafty smiles, he was blind.
Her taciturn replies made him lose feel
the pulse o f his heart and the thoughts of his mind.
The svelte bandit made the humble man to kneel.

He would take even the baneful cup of hemlock
in stead of lolloping behind that devil.
He failed to catch the fortune by its forelock
and so he was led into a grave peril.

The ghost that boasts about her love in treacly ways
will troll one and haul you to suffer bad days.
