Tricks Of My Fate Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Tricks Of My Fate

In the moonlit beach Marina,
very severe was the cold.
The waves shrouded in brightness
galloped towards the shore
and made me stand ‘way before. 5

Being a jobless youth,
the calm sea my mind would soothe.
But in that dead of night, I
went there to chase the waves
to the deep where it pearls saves. I0

Oh, some ghost is there
washing its feet in waves.
Stunned and breathless I was
rooted in that spot,
phantoms I had a lot. I5

Going to sink and die,
why I should fear for a guy.
Walking ahead a little,
heard I her groans and sobs
and weeping to leave this world. 20
“ Failure in love or life is
Common to humanfolk.
Suicide is not the track
to walk at, once you lass;
then the whole world will die alas”. 25

Leaving her safely at home,
trod I all the night.
I can’t leave this dim earth
unless He calls me there
by allowing some time to flare. 30.

I like Marina and her coolness, because I stayed in one of the college hostels, from where I could see the beauty of Marina day and night through window of my room. I walked on her wonderful sandy sarees that have changed design and color every other minute.
