Memories are the truths of lives we have already lived,
hardships, sacrifices, joy, happiness and sorrow have
all become the fabric of our minds and hearts.

Kept sacredly treasured within each of us, giving food
for thought as we grow older, seeing mistakes we have
made along the way, along with our successes.

Giving, as a deep inspiration of faith, an everlast-
ing love that has been shared with us, when elderly,
longing for what we once had comes silently to mind.

Haunting us in a way, as we remember with feelings
and emotions what those moments held through the
years.

Giving us at the end of life, a blessed gift of
what our lives meant to others and self, reiterate-
ing the meaning of our lives.
