Up The Ridge I Stay Poem by Manonton Dalan

Up The Ridge I Stay

i sense tiredness on my feet
long for shelter to have rest
up crest tall oak tree shadow
full of wit to share my sleep
down valley where once wild
now ruptures with corn n wheat

i lean to feel history of a tree
i am like an ant crawling hastily
with roots that extend far beyond
my feet, to cliff to water below
so many been here to enjoy horizon
i'm reminiscing to talk to you soon
