Longing filling this broken heart, wanting a true love,
one that's unconditional and just for me alone.

Wondering why love doesn't come to everyone in the same
way, with fireworks, emotions, desires and passion.

Why is it always seeming to be one-sided, where the
woman is forever compromising and giving of herself.

Men just acting like they deserve everything and
the woman they supposedly love deserves nothing.

Where did this upside down definition of together-
ness ever come from?
