Verbose Gibberish Poem by Ted Sheridan

Verbose Gibberish

Rating: 3.7

It is the virtue of civility
that holds me in check
and keeps me from exposing
my privates
to just anyone
It is the decorousness of my youth
in direct proportion to my longevity
which protects me from revealing
my secret sauces
with a fortuitous slip of my tongue
while still I manage avoiding the
starvation of my hungry soul
And it is with propriety
that I fail to conform
to all which begs my attention
needing me to join in voice
speaking words
someone else puts in my mouth
by a either forceful hand or whisper___
If never of my own choosing
the words are still mine.... none the less
It is dignity and condescension
which leads me in and out of
intercourse and societal evolution
Somehow my life is anticlimactic.....
It's Saturday night
I am alone with a blow up doll
of Anna Nicole and a bag of chips
containing the many crumbs
of my private parts
