Vow (The Leap) Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Vow (The Leap)

Rating: 4.5

If you cry, I'll cry
crocodile tears, my fears
if you lie, I'll believe
try so I may see
show so I may feel

Believe, if not in you and me
in us, take a leap,
faith, feet first
allow me to lead
with a bended knee

You're not ready I know
nobody ever is
but we got this far
let's ride it out
take this leap with me
only if you believe it's real
at the alter forever we meet

I especially like the first stanza! It is full of readiness to read a true emotion! X
