We Are In Trouble; We Fell In Love Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Are In Trouble; We Fell In Love

We Are in Trouble; We Fell in Love

Honey bird, I can hear the low decibels,
I understand the obvious labels,
The delicately intricate details,
And the perplexing factors of your words,
Which are as sharp as ninja swords.
I fully comprehend your tales,
And the unspoken syllables.
After touching your beautiful hands,
You said what you had to say.
It is all right to ignore my demands,
Requests, supplications, and prayers.
You surely know how to play.
I see stars in your eyes. I can translate your gestures.
You and I are in trouble, we fell in love.
Unknowingly, out of the cage, we let the dove
Fly to freedom. She is free and we are now free.
We both understand the parts,
Which are vital to our hearts.
We are in trouble; we fell in love.
