We need one another
What happen to the days?
When a child not only raised by
His mother and father
But had the community as whole
To look out for him.
Oh our child! !
Today we speak of
A child destroyed
A community massive destruction
Crime attraction
They say knowledge is life
But it is what they lack for
To whom is the child for?
Gone are the days
When the child had respect for their elders
Today it is all dismissed
They fight with no explanation
Push their way to the front of
The queues forgetting their origins.
Drugs have become the rulers of the day
Thugs are now dreams-makers of every child
Parties made them go wild
The mother is now the monster of the day
The father is now the nightmare of today
Educate them,
Show them the way
Today is a better day
A child is not only for a mother
But the community
Fathers another chance
To bring about change
And a brighter tomorrow
Not sorrow.
