Look up in the east, not up so high
Where endless oceans bleed into the sky
It's the rising sun, spilling its serene rays
Born for the earth, enlightening all its ways
'Run O Run! You tony little kid,
Ask a nymph to teach you a bit;
I am so green, vital and alive,
You are so meek, lacking signs of life.'
Said the green earth to the lovely sun,
With selfless feeling, relentless was his love.
Those who rain, they do not thunder.
Swallowing the blame, accepting his blunder.
'Burn O Sun! Burn to oblivion.'
Said mother nature, savior of the Sun.
He was taught the heavenly lessons
upon sacrifice, on limitless persistence
Then he shined like the burning stars
Rays out-shined his childhood scars
'Here I am, standing upon my words
Give me what I want, your unconditional love'
'O great Sun! I salute thy bravery,
But thy misfortune! I still can't love thee.
I am sweet as a blessed heaven's drink
You are sour as hemlock from a devil's brink
I am cold, Soothing air of the spring.
You are wild, hot as the summer's wind.
You are blessed! Find your mate star
We can't be together, you've gone too far.'
That is all the cruel earth ever spoke
But was not enough for crushing sun's hope.
'It was you for whom I got this height.
Cuz once you'd said you wanna see me bright.
But my pleasure lies in happiness of thine
Now for you, I'll fade the brightness of mine'
And the future saw the fall of the Sun
He fell down again because of the one
Once more he was humble as his past
Giving up powers, no strength of him last
'Look O dear! I'm at your level now.
Take pity on me. Accept me somehow.'
But the earth spoke nothing this time.
Her eyes said it all, scripture of her mind
On one hand was left the lonely sun
The other was with earth's untold reason.
He was broke! He was tired.
He was crushed by his heavy desire.
'Good bye O dear! I am setting you free
I'm going away, from the vision of thee.'
The sky was silent but the Nature roared!
She had lost her son, the one she adored
Darkness followed the fall of the sun
'Mercy O Nature! ', pleaded the cruel one
Her beauty faded, the nature's heritage
She needed light, blessings of the sage
With his cool rays, then came the moon
'Thanks and love to you', She acknowledged the boon
Still so unknown of her beautiful sight
Of the person lying behind the moon's light!
