What They See In You Poem by Ashley Perkins

What They See In You

I sometimes imagine the life you will live, I think of the happiness your presence will give.
They will see the joy in your face come day, and come night,
and yet once again when they know your dreams will take flight.
They will feel the hope that will grow with your motherly grace
and they'll see all the happiness they put on your face.
Not everything will be peaches and cream, especially when they become a bunch of hard headed teens.
