When Today Arrives
When today arrives, I know you are no longer here with me.
The sun will faintly shine and the moon will quickly fade,
I forever wish that you never left.
Throughout the short time we had together, I somehow managed to always said how much I love you, but I know now it will never be enough to tell you how much I still want to say I love you.
When today arrives, I know I will miss you dearly,
My lonely star will haltingly rise beyond the misty clouds, as it weeps for you and me.
But when today arrives, in the heavenly land of Almighty God,
your divine Angels keep telling me you are there to stay,
lovely Guardians reveal to me that you are entering the endless blissful Dreamland Way.
For that you had to leave us all behind, the way you did that hazy Autumn day.
When today arrives, I will always think of you,
The ocean still deeply wide and the mountain still high!
Except for me, everything has changed here since you left for the glorious Kingdom Gate.
Silently I long for a moment with you in that same space and time.
When today arrives, I dream of seeing you under the glowing blue sky that we once had and cherished.
For this heartening hope I will eternally wait for our moment in that same space and time.
