Words, Iron Thorns Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Words, Iron Thorns

These words are barbed wire on my tongue
Iron thorns bathed in doubt

Should I expel then from my bloody mouth
My sharp, deadly secrets will be out

Should I swallow then to save others
My torn body will suffer to drive then deeper

Eventually someone will see the blood
