Y/ Affability

Today, let us celebrate
The trait of affability
Warm affection we can create
What a wondrous capability

Getting simply down to earth
Receiving anyone as a great guest
A friendly act, a kindly spoken word
A positive thought, a loving chest

Warmth, joviality, cordiality
This is best, this is the way
The trait of affability
Let us celebrate it today

Poem of the Day

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
