Y/. Energy Poem by Aufie Zophy

Y/. Energy

Rating: 5.0

The energy flowing through the branches of the trees in spring
The energy flowing through the flowers and blossoms that bloom
The energy of the sea, ocean and its gusty winds
It gently flows through my veins and arteries too

The energy of painters, poets and bards making fun
The energy of wild tigers, lions and leopards too
The energy that flows through the rivers, moon and sun
It flows through my veins and also through those of you.

Energy is the base of anything that exists, and the Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy can not be created and it can not be destroyed. It means energy is immortal. You have selected a very interesting topic for your poem and very well wrote it, congratulations.

Energy is living life to the full as long as we can, such a beautiful write!

Beautiful imagery invoked in a poem about something that is not able to be seen. Interesting and very well done! ! !

I agree with what one reader said about JUST SITTING THERE calling it A PERFECTLY FORMED POEM. This one ENERGY is also perfectly formed, you trust your highly charged and vivid imagery will convey your message so you do NOT need to pour too many words on the page. In fact, your restraint makes your poems glitter with verbal energy, they shoot right inside of the reader's mind with succinct truths. The parallel 4th and 8th lines are brilliant with the variation also through those veins of you especially effective.

A great poem, if we channel our energy we can do anything.
