Zainab The Raped Girl Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Zainab The Raped Girl

Rating: 2.8

The innocent girl who has gone some where
I know she will not stay there too long
Whenever a poem will be written on her
She'll disguise herself as a bud to sing a song.

She will not come back from her grave
But she will continue her incomplete dreams
Her soul will come out from her heart
From the mountains she'll fall as streams

She will grow in a river dancing and flowing
Snatching back her virginity from the bastard
No signs of rape will remain on her body
Leaving behind the dirt of rape in a grave yard

And the bastard who was hanged yesterday
Will be buried in the dirt of his raping girls
The mere chit of a girl shall rise as clouds
From eternal sea the fairy of shining pearls

She'll fall as rains, the cause of delicate blooms
Shall see a pink and white virgin in in the showers
The bastard will cry but she will smile and smile
She'll bloom again and again in virgin flowers.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
By Eli Meixler October 17,2018 (With thanks to Time)

Pakistan executed Imran Ali Wednesday, the man convicted of the killing a six-year-old girl in a murder that sparked outrage around the world earlier this year.

The body of six-year-old Zainab Ansari was found in a garbage dump in Kasur, Pakistan in January, days after her parents reported her missing. Police said she had been raped and strangled.

Zainab's father, Amin Ansari, said Ali's execution Wednesday left him "satisfied, " according to the BBC.

Ali,24, was arrested in January after confessing to the crime. His DNA was also found at the scene according to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Zainab's case was the latest among a spate of attacks and abductions targeting children in the city of Kasur, outside of Lahore. Police had recorded 12 child murders in the city in two years, which they believed to be linked, according to the BBC. Ali was later convicted of similar crimes against six other girls.

What a wonderful poem, Akhtar. This write will touch every man's heart. Very incisive, well crafted and executed piece of art. A great tribute to the beautiful little girl who had been deprived to enjoy the wonders of existence due to this heinous crime committed against her.

It's a SAD state of affairs of a criminal mind may such folks be slaughtered public-ally The 6 year old child left alone is the parents personal responsibility as in the west tiill 14 years of age kids just can't be left alone for a moment.I hope this sad incident will bring light and keep the immature youth in sight. Sad though
