A Beam of Light

As intuition
sweetens, sweeps senses, doors open
onto fruition.

Bursting bright, baring
intimate enlightenment
links souls insight sharing.

Light weaving laughter
assuages inhibitions,
superfluous hereafter.

Sounds of soft music
reflect starry skies' surprise,
bring belonging magic.

Ecstasy appears
to overwhelm misfortune,
love banishing fears.

Eternally, bliss
personnified, naught denied: -
Song of Songs is this.

Sounds of music
and starry skies
bring belonging magic.

Ecstasy here
lets life blossom,
love knows no fear.

Eternal bliss
is personnified:
Song of Songs is this.

Communication quite
envelops and sustains bridge
building shared delight.

Listening space
endows lasting trust to end
individual race.

Tender light beam bright
translates now to forever
extending insight.

Shared listening space
bears witness to lasting trust
ends ambition’s [t]race.

Hi Jonathan, Nice to see you again. I have come back here after a 2 year break. Crammed in a serious fall which cost me a knee and now have a slight limp and also went throrugh the dreaded breast cancer with 4 months of treatments. But I am fine and dandy again and back writing poetry. I love this one of yours. it's warm and sweet. It brings comfort and a glow to my heart. Excellent! (Report) Reply

although spiritual in the content, this can be applied in different levels to give different meaning...to show how a beam of light can change man's mind, heart, life, creative activity etc... (Report) Reply

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
