A Pirates Tale, Uh Huh
This pirate captain, years ago
Decided, when his work got slow
He'ed turn to writing, poetic style
And soon amassed a major pile.
He made us think and made us smile;
I think he was writing, all the while, uh huh.

I had a good morning laugh. Appreciate this one.
Well, has poetry netted you as much as pirating probably did? I sure like this. Constance Yost

This old pirate took a nap,
seaweed drying on his back,
then was wakened by a muse,
to strive for, worship and amuse.
There were youthful poems he saved
buried with him in his grave
then when he was stood upright
began to write and write and write.
