A Rebel At Heart Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Rebel At Heart

This mind loves to rock the boat, being a rebel at heart, finding that nothing's taboo, because truth and honesty never does depart from the simple meanings that're captured singly every day.

Sun shining always in the darkness and dark night of the soul,
remembering reading about the Saints, wanting to be just like
them.

Alas, it was never to be, for human frailty won't allow it, so
staying strong, praying, being as good as a person of humanity
can be while living life for all its worth while on earth.

Good poem. My kinda rebel. Truth hurts but honesty is the best policy.
