A Way Of Memory Poem by abhimanyu kumar.s

Concerning the smile of her
I form my senses in her
Though she is away from me
I sense her with all memories
Never I miss my love
Never the happiness she gave
I pause on every charm
Every moment spent with her
And raise my arms lightly
To capture her in me tightly
No longer than her eyes
I see my life in it
What a presence of her
Makes everything a pride
How to say of her beauty
Goddesses! yes, my goddesses.

I love Magaret's view on how the mood can reflect seet the reflection of memories. the poem gives an very nice idea of the memories of our senses and this is great because it moves way from the cerebral which I belives gives it a sensual connection rather than an intelectual one between humans. you really paint an amazing picture of the human senses and the powers the have in creating our perception of reality. more importatly I like that the sensuality represented in your poem is not neurotic and radically spontanious and animalist but is rather reflectve, which gives the impression then senses inthemselves have an intelectual capacity of their own. I hope this all makes sense, Its a wonderful and poem with controlled emotions and that is what makes it so enjoyable, its not heavy unlike most sentimental poems. (Report) Reply

    Nice work!
    But, ...

    From Her View

She likes his shirt and jeans,
    And what those flowers mean.
But, if the time has not yet been,
Her signal will never be green.
