Alone In A Wilderness Of Poetical Persuasion Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Alone In A Wilderness Of Poetical Persuasion

Shooting for the stars, loving to watch them twinkle, shining
upon earth, allowing imagination to open completely as intell-
ect takes thoughts quietly and silently into inner dimensions.

A place where this mere poet is free to survive everything that
life happens to throw to destiny, surviving heartbreak, sadness,
sorrow, grief, loss, loneliness, emptiness, and hardships.

Many sacrifices never seem to end, just being, mind all about
thinking and writing, flowing into effervescent forests, climb-
ing high to peaks of mountains, wanting to touch clouds above.

Watching as they drift, then swimming beneath the ocean's water,
body surfing on waves, totally relaxed and joyful as this poet
constantly swims out farther.

Letting waves pick this poet up, sliding it to sandy shores like
a puck in a hockey game being sent swiftly into the goal net,
scoring another experience of life.
