Alzheimer's Being Illogical Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Alzheimer's Being Illogical

Learning how other women cope with their husbands when
they have Alzheimer's or dementia, the many things they
have tried.

Nothing really works, the women get very little sleep
at all, their husbands staying awake all hours of the
day and night.

Messing up the kitchen or bathroom, burning food, eating
constantly, because they've forgotten they've just eaten,
they cannot think logically at all.

It's so sad, for both of them, women trying everything
they can think of to make things easier, but the disease
is just too much for them.
