Autumn Light Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Autumn Light

Leaves in trees
Shading out
Green color to yellow
I did not see crouching
And become quiet
In the cold of autumn

Opened the door and
Closed again
Began to read
A new chapter

In the way of running
Touched the mind
Lighting up a candle
In a cloud of darkness

Not completely sure what this poem entails, except that it's autumn. It's not altogether clear in meaning.
