Back In The Day Poem by nikki irvine

Back In The Day

Back in the day,
I used to play with the thunder,
And I used to roll with the lightening,
I used to scare Sandra,
But now I just sit here and watch
Kids in the sand paddock and play.

To hide like Jeff,
In the cradle of death,
To run and hide,
All the shame inside.

To be a clown,
It is not the time to frown,
Unless your scared that you will come down.

Shane is the same,
But he is defo insane.

Missy has gone buzurk
So all the ladies,
Throw your hands up,
And all the fella’s jump up,
In the air like you just don’t care,
And we say ‘oh yer’! ! ! !
