Don't call me ugly
or pretty
or beautiful
and if you think im ugly
everyones beautiful in their own way
it might be their eyes
or body shape
maybe their personality
or voice
so when you call me ugly
everyone is beautiful no matter
who they are

I agree with Alf and Meagan because everyone is beautiful in a different kind of way but it is really not nice to call people ugly.Nice poem. (Report) Reply

beauty is in every one of us, they just have to look.
it is not always what you see in a book.
just sit by yourself and think about all the LORD has given us
then search your heart and you will find, a beauty so wonderful that
you will not be able to hide. (Report) Reply

Believe me it's a beautiful poem. Beauty is in one's eyes, my dear Jessica.
Truth is sometimes beautiful and sometimes ugly.Like nakedness is ugly but
semi nakedness is beautiful. There is no absolute beauty. Please keep writing.

    Best Wishes

You are right. I am reminded of the following lines:
In small prportions we just beauties see
In small measures life may perfect be

We all have flaws but that's how we are created - usually we have another outstanding quality and it's a sin not to look for that in another..We are all different and that makes the world we live in interesting- think how boring if we were all Brabie's and Ken! . A good write to ponder on - (Report) Reply

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
