Beliefs And Values Taught By Parents Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Beliefs And Values Taught By Parents

Minds telling right from wrong, morally and ethically accord-
ing to the beliefs and values we were taught by our parent's
while growing up.

Hopefully being taught correctly so children don't grow up
to be rapists, murderers, pedophiles or school shooters,
being given love when it's most important.

Giving them self-confidence, self-esteem and yet having
fragile egos, children are so very impressionable, they
copy others, watch grown-ups and each other.

Trying to find themselves somehow, yet not knowing within
themselves who they are, a very fragile and delicate inner
atmosphere.

One that can easily be damaged by so many people or things
in life, how do we ever figure out who we are and what our
purpose here on earth is?
