Oft an adults with childish mentality do marriage
With an aim to travel in life's joyful carriage.
On fate's tortuous road of uncertainty
With an aim to sing life's joyous ditty
The coach drawn by colts of happiness cum sorrow.
Rushes on a road winding up to morrow
Then a wanton fantasy running amok
Mates with a desire running wild
And in due course produces a sacrificial child.

Then, adult children with unfulfilled goals,
Imprison poor newborns in their ambition's gaol.
They prod tiny tots with a goad of desires
Till their limbs gets tired and hearts emits fire.
The fools trying to fulfill goals in a vicarious way
Unknowingly extinguish the newborn rays.
The child born in an accident
Complains in a front of providence:
In muffled prayers or screams
To rescue his brutally raped dreams.
Thus their desire abuses new born child
Who is yet to shed innocence's guild.

Eventually the carriage falls in
a dolorous dell,
And the progenies that
begets in the hell,
fight like Cain and Abel.

Eventually carriage falls in
a well of suffering,
And the child that dwells in well,
Begets children in the hell,
who fight like Cain and Abel.

I dont know which is worst, child marriage or young men having children with different girls who are also children themselves, children having children out of wedlock. God bless us all. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and talent.

A very serious matter this, so much involved. Capable or totally incapable of understanding situation. Taken in marriage to be a servant, abuse, stigma attached as regards relatives is another probability.Poverty will make parents sell this precious child instead of allowing her to live her life - protected.Sometimes marriages between two such people work, they spend their lives assisted and being cared for, thought of children frightening- again dependable on others...a very sad and complicated decision to make..

This is a very well penned poem Doctor Sheth. I have always seen our children go off to war and die for what our Goverments fight over. Land, which is not ours to begin with. We are just here for a season and then? We are to be caretakers of what our God has so blessed us with, but instead we water the soil with the blood of our young. God forgive us we are sinners saved by grace. Ten for this one. God Be With you and your great country. God's Servant, Linda

This is a very thought provoking poem indeed...there are lots of things to analyze in this poem.....In fact I really agree with you here..it doesn't really matter if the person is eligible to marry if he has a immature childish mentality
'Oft an adult with childish mentality have marriage'
so when such people with immature state of mind marry for all sorts of silly reasons..it invariably end in a disaster.....

And I like your phrase..the children has to fight like 'Kane and Abel'...I don't know know whether you read the book by the same name by Jeffory Archer...there the Abel goes through all the difficulties and rises to the top...

in such a case I wonder whether all the love given by parents might only make the child dependent on them.....when parents grow their children like some untarnished flowers..they ultimately finds it hard to bear all the pain caused by bees and mosquitoes in the society......don't wana get carried away too much there are lots of things to analyze here...

great write as always Doctor 10++
