Child Of Two Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Child Of Two

Arms swinging, eyes intently looking upon the stage, a child
of two enjoying the music, loving to hear the beat as it con-
tinues to gallop up and down.

Going across the stage and back, yielding to the distant echoes
of the past, present and a future in tomorrows hope, finding
self in musical rhythms.

This child of two dancing, smiling and looking around, catching
the eyes of those looking on, feeling proud and worthy of being
observed.

A little child finding his young way into the music being played,
now having been exposed to rhythms, his whole life now changed
in an instant.
