Comrades of a far my days by Rasul Gamzatov

* * *
Comrades of a far my days,
Contemporaries who have lived so little! ..
Probably, I'm alive,
To do not die a memory on the earth.

Friends fallen on the battlefield
You were much more, passionately loved a life.
I know: survivor I am,
In order to tell about you, so little lived.

Translation L. Dymova
* * *

Poem of the Day

Our life is twofold; Sleep hath its own world,
A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality,
