Despondent Joy - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Nothing in life is safe or secure; we live in despondent joy every day without knowing it's reasons.
Somnolent sounds distress us along the way, yet we look forward and back, never turning from it's end, even when in sight.
Careful considerations abound and confirm our existence as we touch inner sanctums of pleasure.
