Echoes Of A Song Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Songs filled with memories of yesterday, touching hearts of
all who are here, bringing tears to mind of each individual's
times of joy and family together.

Rhythms running, invigorating memories of an elderly audience
gathered here for story telling and music composed and sung in
order to recall what each of us once had when we much younger.

Never even thinking of when we would be older; life back them
was filled with fun and laughter, now remembered in the echoes
of a song or story being sung or told.

All those children of yesterday who are now old and living in
their treasured memories, for that's all they now have to see,
these aged and yellowed times of once upon a time.
