Every Night



"Why are you crying? " he asked as the sun was about to dawn…
"Because our first night together was so beautiful
so magical…
and now our first night's gone."

"There's no need for tears." He smiled
as the sun through the window burst
for I shall do my best to make every night we are together
as beautiful
and as magical
as the first.
