Love is fine love is so divine
Then why this love gives so much pain.
I am unable to solve till date,
How many faces this love does have?
Love grows love pleases love grinds and crush.
Love makes love breaks love shines or pushes in the dark.
Love is like a hydra with umpteen no. of heads
Nobody knows when and how, which one will act.
You may be ruined through love’s betrayal
Or repent throughout being eluded.
It surrounds and allures with it's slippery surface
Smilingly it whispers “ catch me if you can “.
What a mystery is hidden in love
Like a forbidden apple of Eden.

Showing all faces of love is pure genius, Amitava. Feels like I'm going up and down aisles of life seeing them all wanting to reach out and catch it, but slipping on it's slippery surface. Finally reveling in love's mystery, yet knowing it's forbidden. Really enjoyed this one, Amitava. You took me right along with the ebb and flow of this poem. Thoroughly enjoyed it, Amitava. RoseAnn
..........a poem that shows faces of love, , , , , , , wonderful write sir., ...........
...Love appears before us in umpteen guises.....! Sometimes, it raises us to the pinnacles of joy... sometimes it pushes us to the nadir of despair.... sometimes it thrills.... sometimes it kills....! We cannot predict how it would be the next moment.... Enjoyed!
Yes Love is a forbidden Apple and I couldn't save myself or else I would be wandering as hermit. Thanks for sharing.
Everything that shines and looks like gold is not. The beautiful red apple can sometimes deceive us. If we are not careful we may bite into a worm. Your poem about love and its temptations are real. Never go for a ride on love until you're good and ready! Enjoyed this so much.
Its often temptation which makes us wiser to our follies, love is the ultimate temptation, as it has so many faces and guises, that we confuse it with other things, but if it feels good, it should never be forbidden. A great read.
Great look at love that magical mysterious apple that for sure can go sour...loved reading this
