Fundamental Truth. Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Fundamental Truth.

Fundamental truth.

Charles Darwin was not British.
He was a genius.
All humans are animals.
Men.
Women are humans,
But not animals at all times.
Thankfully some time.
A zoologist dissects.
I know, I have been there and done it.
Miserably then all my fellow mates.
Back then when my eyes had stars.
I used to be a student.
I too had a dream.
Dr. Martin Luther King I steal.
Unabashed.
Wrong tense,
I stole.
The only difference between men and women,
Latter reign,
From birth till the fruition of the desert flower.
The orchid that blooms in a century.
For it to bloom,
The night is a need.
For the day in our nights,
Woman you are the keel.
I heel, I bow, I go down on my knees.
Not to seek you,
I do not wish you,
I pine for your touch,
That justifies,
A billion births.
I am no Vishnu, No Bramha, No Mahesh.
I don't need the Avatars.
Costumes are not my fair play.
I love the hard drive,
I am Michael Shumaker.
The world begins and ends with an F and 1.
I just need a moment.
Your eternity.
Give me.
