Golden Friendship Poem by Fay Slimm

Golden Friendship

Rating: 5.0

Fine gold dust blows over
................ each day spent with friends.
Tomorrow's reality then
................................. dawns enhanced.
Amity's bosom breathes
........................... warmth, as unending
Friendships respond
....................to care's kindly advances.

Harmony holds hands
.................with peace, embraces flow
Openly, as arms linked
...................break ice and melt hearts.
Goodwill, bonding sympathy,
...................................... unites to grow
Into ties no disturbance
................................. could split apart.

If gold is unheeded
......................within friendship's need
Passing chances, delayed,
............................. are the past indeed.

Some friendships are certainly worth their weight in Gold. If we all could be friends and help each other, there would be no need for angry words. Great poem Fay. Regards Bob

A glance to long, followed with a smile, means you have gone that extra mile that tantalizing brief surmise, shows loves luster in your eyes too late your trapped, your heart is, . no longer hidden defenses now, are overridden!
