Honoring Our First Responders Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

First responders playing a song just for their dedication
and times of helping those in need of their expertise.

Making house calls daily, going into people's homes,
strangers until they meet and are then helped.

Falling now, into patterns and designs of a lively
crowd, as the beauty of their hearts and souls come out
into the open with a band of country western fame.

Honoring our first responders with a melody and lyrics of
honor as they continue to help people with their hearts
of gold, reaching into their beings, helping those in need.
