there's nothing like living life as a rolling stone or a hustler..is the poet using his love interest as his shield when its convenient for him to fall back on someone or does he really love her...that's quite a portrait of a user..playing games.. (Report) Reply

I found this poem completely arrogant. This person seems to say that places and things are more important than other people. The independence and longing for a life different than the normal get born, get married, live and die of old age is a very unobtained idea in this society. It is arrogant and cocky but I like to identify with it because people will always let you down. Sometimes its nice to be the cruel one and let other people down first by never finding the time to love them. The strong point of this poem is that it reeks of independence strength outside of love for others; the idea is great. The weak point of this poem is that it doesnt rhyme and none of the lines in themselves are easy to remember, making the impact of this poem shallow. (Report) Reply

    Hello Peter,

I read your poem 'If I Find Time, I Will Love You'. It is nice. i would like to translate into Tami. What is the exact meaning of 'hustler'.
    Dictionary says
' A shrewd or unscrupulous person who knows how to circumvent difficulties,
A prostitute who attracts customers by walking the streets. (Report) Reply

a wonderful poem and I can understand the real meaning of this poem holding the modern gadgets of communication and I sincerely congratulate you, dear Peter...

But don't you think that we need a tender heart to love someone, irrespective of whether we have time or not? when we are in love, the time will become secondary and most of the young and old adults have never bothered about the time..They would like to do anything at any time for the people they love... Appreciate such different style of displaying love. Quiet perfect the utterance of time. Money first, ambition to fulfill first and after then if get time could spent for love. Exactly..... But a tragedy begins when we realise love is not at all a commodity which could be purchased. Flesh is available, obedience available by money but LOVE perhaps more than this. A feeling of fulfillment that could be attained by different practice of life, perhaps.....Pranab k c 10 (Report) Reply

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
