Lay With Me Poem by Eric Cockrell

Lay With Me

no more time for excuses,
to barter and trade,
for pretensions and etiquette,

to mend the bridge,
or paint the house....
no time for redemption,

no time for the past....
i just wanna know....
would you lay with me,

and wait for the dawn of the age?
