Letting Thoughts Fall Like Leaves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Energizing a rife feeling that has sprouted, cutting edges
all around itself to keep others far away, not wanting to
be associated with anything at all.

Preferring to be a lone entity, keeping thoughts, feelings
and emotions under cover, away from so many prying eyes,
curious to see what's being written and said.

Putting it all into a silent mode, right out loud in poetry,
being expressed the world over, no understanding nor mean-
ing coming to the surface, letting thoughts fall like leaves
as they die upon earth.
