Limerick 079 Poem by John Carter Brown

Limerick 079

Rating: 5.0

There once was a man from St Ives
Who, commended for saving two lives,
Said he'd had to react,
As the bees had attacked
While the thieves had been stealing their hives.

Serves the thieves right, shouldn't have been stealing the hives should they! ! Guess they were well and truly stung.
