Limerick-92. Philosopher Poem by Valsa George

Limerick-92. Philosopher

Rating: 4.9

With a philosophic bent of mind
To his thoughts he was confined
Instead of loving his wife
He pondered over life
Soon, with another man she was found!

Only dreaming can't help. One should be practical in life. Excellent poem Madam George.

such a great truth! ! a woman wants love, care, attention, touch, kiss...... when a lover or husband is lost in philosophical thoughts and live in his own world of thoughts, naturally she will get bored..... you have presented a truth. thank you.

Welcome back, Valsa-ji. A very funny one with a warning to wayward philosophers.

Finding the right balance between mind, heart and soul is an art. Too much of anything tends not to be good. Well written and thought provoking limerick.

I have full sympathy for wife and philosopher. A mismatch indeed! Enjoyed the limerick. We missed you so much.
