Love's not just blind

What is it that makes me cry
When I'm happy as can be
What is it that makes me want to die
When there's a life ahead of me

What's that feeling of hurt
though I bask in sunshine
What's that fear that lurks
Amidst the party and the wine

What happened to my hunger
I can't eat a morsel
Why can't I even drink water
Despite the thirst.

What is it that fills my heart
With a feeling of pride
Why do I feel dizzy
Like a joy ride

What about my friends
Ones that came calling
And my foes
Those slandering

What is wrong with me
Can't I see
That I'm bound to stumble
Where I'm going to be

I ceased to care for all else
The moment I saw you
And I realized that love's not just blind
It's makes one stupid too.

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
