Morning Sun Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Morning Sun

Flowers raising their dainty heads out of bed,
squinting in the sunlight featured by a morning
sun.

Stretching stems and leaves, shaking their petal
heads, pushing their roots further into the soil
to keep a foothold on life, while they blossom
and show off their regal colors to everyone.
