Nature Appeases This Poet's Soul Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Nature Appeases This Poet's Soul

Wantonly looking throughout life, finding things, ideas,
etc. to investigate and learn from, going through life
experiences, situations and circumstances.

Finding facts, learning from hardships and sacrifices
gone through, having an interior life, connected closely
to nature since being born.

Always finding solace and tranquility in nature's abodes,
forests, deserts, and mountains especially, feeling right
at home in the wilderness with nature.

At times having climbed up a mountain alone, finding a
boulder, sitting down, writing poetry in a heavenly
silence of natures environment and atmosphere.

At times looking and watching as wildlife goes about its
business, ignoring this mere poet for the most part, being
at first a little skittish.

After a bit, realizing this poets not a danger to them,
continuing with their lives, being alone and isolated in
the center of nature appeases this poet's soul completely.

Giving an interior strength and spirituality that feels
good and right to this innate talent, taking all aspects
and facets into account when writing.

Seeing details most people never seem to notice, somehow it
seems like music in mind and intellect allures everything
into many possibilities when writing.

A non-ending supply of thoughts, ideas and concepts, which
this poet thanks God for constantly, knowing that He has
given these special gifts into this creative being.
