Old Poem by Jared Weppelman

Old

I remember Mario and 5000 point flags
Kite runners and racing drags
Blue hedgehogs and flying foxes
Pinball and question-mark boxes

I remember a baby's midnight cry
Scares that a child may die
Bloody elbows and torn lips
Bathtubs and pink battleships

I remember football in a green field
Barely missing a car that didn't yield
Frisbee and climbing trees
Falling down and scraping knees

I remember dearest friends
Blacktop brawls with no amends
Softball with a family team
Not paying attention and getting beamed

I remember 4th grade math
Staring in horror at a blood bath
Structures of steel and cement well kept
Fell to the earth as I sat and wept

I remember the Twilight Zone
Walking dirty streets all alone
My dad laid off and pizza jobs
Coming home after being robbed

I remember Johnny Cash and Pope John Paul
The moral behind 'Walking Tall'
Living rough and a smoking ban
The final flight of Superman

I remember being three years of age
My nephew's first cry of baby rage
But with everything I remember in bold
I can't recall how I got so old

A journey of life until it turns out old one day with all its diversified experiences. But i recommend u remember only the good ones that will take u long way coz good things happen when u r alive and not dead with bad experiences contributing negative energy inside u.Imagine it had been a dark night of ur life which went off but nothing happened with u.U r then in life as its lively winner.Cheers and a good write and imaginative poetry.Good application of mind.
